Today the cows will stay in the shed I have fed them a good feed of silage I am sure they will be much happier inside nice and dry.
The fields are absolutly saturated if i was to turn the cows out today they would make such a mess they will be better off inside.
I can not believe that it is the start of July and i am housing my cows. This time last year the fields were so dry that the grass was hardly growing.
Milk yield is down about 200 litres hardly supprising considering the amount of rain we have had.
Anyway hope the sun shines a bit more this week.
